New Music: Yung Pabi drops “M3ntie” Akan

Yung Pabi – M3ntie (ft. Akan)

Yung Pabi teamed up rap brother Akan to create this hip hop song that encourages self belief. M3ntie, an akan word which literally translates, I did not listen, is the title to call this piece of art.

This song’s inspiration came from the people who told him to quit music and go for a 9 to 5 because as it stands, the passion is not paying his bills and also those who kept telling him to change style and do what everybody is doing.

“I mean those who told me indirectly to lose myself and make music I did not believe in. Sometimes we are told to go against our will or our plans and it works out, but what about the other times we disobey and still succeed? Sometimes listening to ourselves and having absolute belief in what we think and feel, gets us closer to our dreams.”

Yung Pabi believes, even if we fail, our mistakes teaches us the right route to take when we try again.

He send the message across that,he is at a point in his career where he have crossed the red sea and no matter the obstacle that comes his way, he is victory bound and prays this song goes a long way to light the bulb in you too.
