Ghanaian rapper and educator Derrick Frimpong, widely known as Phrimpong, is set to make another powerful appearance in the advocacy space as he joins the GUBA Foundation’s upcoming webinar on neurodiversity, themed “Our Power is in Our Differences.”

The session, happening on 27th October 2025 at 6:00 PM GMT via Google Meet, forms part of the GUBA Foundation’s mission to celebrate strength in diversity and promote inclusion for neurodiverse individuals. Phrimpong will join an insightful panel featuring Tonee Burley, a Speech-Language Pathologist, and Bethanie Atinuke Sonola, a Community and Educational Psychologist.

Fresh from earning his Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Cape Coast, Phrimpong continues to merge his two passions, music and advocacy, using his voice to push for inclusion and understanding. This follows his participation in KNUST’s “Autism: I Am Not a Stigma” discussion, also organized by the GUBA Foundation earlier in the year, and Reyo Foundation’s “Africa Embraces Neurodiversity” event in September.

Currently a Special Needs Educator at Al-Rayan International School, Phrimpong continues to champion neurodiversity through “The Ausome Show,” Ghana’s first podcast dedicated to learning disorders and inclusion.

From dropping socially conscious rap verses to shaping conversations in education and special needs advocacy, Phrimpong’s journey reflects a genuine mission to make a difference. The upcoming webinar, under the hashtag #NeurodiversityIsMySuperPower, promises inspiring dialogue on how embracing differences creates stronger, more inclusive communities.
