| Ghana Meets Naija Concert 2019 |
This years edition of Empire Entertainment’s annual event “Ghana Music Awards” is ongoing at the International Conference Centre, Accra.
The ninth edition is a contest between artists of the titular nations, although according to the organisers, Empire Entertainment, the event is meant to promote unity and enhance collaboration among Ghanaian and Nigerian music industry stakeholders and create a positive atmosphere for music fans and artists alike.
Artists performing from Ghana include Medikal, R2bees, Kelvin Bwoy, Tulenkey, J Derobie, AK Songstress, Ras Kuuku, Opanka, Fameye, Narna, Kofi Mole and ‘One Corner’ singer Patapaa, among others. Nigerian acts to perform include Wande Coal, Victor AD and fast-rising act Teni.
