Song takes inspirations from the Legendary Amakye Dede’s top classic, To Be A Man, but this time to empower women with an instant appealing chorus “To be a woman, matter ooo”
Women are faced with daily societal ordeals and comes under attacks from their physic, appearance, social status and many others offloaded in the song. Okyeame Kwame, Sista Afia, and Abochi reason with listeners on a sermon to be appreciative, respect and encourage women to the apex.
Memorable of the lyrics is Sista Afia’s verse “enough is enough, independence came for everyone and henceforth ladies won’t be slaves no more”.
Choice of words, vocals and sound makes composition a timely classic and resonates with its objective of empowerment while entertaining the many.

Listen UP: Amerado links Lasmid for hit single “Grace”

Ghana’s Amerado has released the much anticipated hit song “Grace” featuring Lasmid!
Amerado continues to prove his success in 2022 with the release of his first song from the recently announced debut career album titled G.I.N.A (God Is Never Asleep) featuring Friday-Night hitmaker Lasmid. The track sees Amerado speak of his experience on the streets from grace to grace with his commanding vocals while Lasmid, the rapper-turned-singer, delivered a melodies chorus.
Amerado, who combines afrobeats and hip hop, is rising in popularity worldwide. Many people were drawn to his songs “Sika Dam”, “Metua”, “Obiaa Boa”, “Back To Sender” and “Abotre,”.

Sikakpe Sosu Agboado known in entertainment circles as Hadzi Vodo unleashes Nor Agbe, the second single off his body of work dubbed “Agoo”.
The Agoo EP according to the Afrobeats/Afro Pop artiste features five songs which he believes his fans and music lovers will love and also push his career to the next level.

Massimo Youngblood host Ciici Mani and Laura Dia on “Fast & Furious” – Listen
Massimo Youngblood
Massimo Youngblood, an afrobeat musician based in Ghana and the United Kingdom, has returned with a fresh new track that features Ciici Mani and one of the United Kingdom’s up-and-coming female vocalists, Laura Dia.
Massimo Youngblood is a highly talented musician that has been able to carve a path into the music business with his own distinctive style of music and sound that surpasses the imaginations of every listener. His voice projection, melody, rhythm, and composition are all very unique.
His most recent song, “Fast & Furious,” which was created by Mintzbeats and is a slow Afro-rhythm and blues style piece, was released not too long ago. “Fast & Furious” is a combination of the two musical styles.
Throughout the whole of the song, which clocks in at three minutes and thirty-five seconds, Massimo sings in English, while Ciici Mani raps in his native Ghanaian language in a manner that is both passionate and contextual. Laura Dia delivers the backing vocals with her soulful but delicate tones.
The words of the song convey the sense of a young guy who is full of life and vigour and who is not prepared to give up on life but is determined to confront life head-on regardless of what problems it throws his way.

Camidoh follows the irresistible Sugarcane with “KABA”
Camidoh – Kaba
After weeks of announcing a forthcoming single, Camidoh has finally shared an infectious new single dubbed “Kaba”—a song which is anticipated to be on his forthcoming EP “Sugarcane”.
The afrobeats highlife-leaning single is the sensational vocalist’s latest musical offering, following the remix of his crossover commercial success “Sugarcane” released in April. The remix of the song featuring Mayorkun, Darkoo, and King Promise gave him further reach across Africa and beyond after gaining mainstream recognition with its original.
The new material “Kaba” follows Camidoh’s busy year thus far. He has recently been embarking on a European tour, engaging in media interviews and playing at notable festivals. He was seen performing at this year’s edition of Afronation Portugal and Ghana Party In The Park—where the new song initially made its debut. The song references a man who vows to give his love interest the “world” to make her happy.
Camidoh, who takes inspiration from Akon and Sarkodie, has been making music since he was in high school and gained initial attention in Ghana’s music scene when he released his single ‘For My Lover.’ Since then, his fan base has grown rapidly and steadily.

Ghanaian musician Gadzisberg has finally released the official music video for his party anthem, “Mata no dey” .
“Mata no dey” is Gadzisberg’s debut music video since joining the label this year officially to trade his music career.
The video released on Coded-Chair Label on YouTube was shot and directed by prolific visual artiste, Director Abass who has many years of experience in the field.
The concept for the video represents the African lifestyle when it comes to partying, hanging with friends and how arts and entertainment is being given enough attractiveness even on the street.
The entire music video was shot in Accra, Ghana specifically, British Accra one of the historic coastal communities in West Africa known for the Trans-Atlantic slave trade in the previous century.
