Full Winners List: Aya RamzyB Tops Western Music Awards 2025

The 9th edition of the Medimafo Western Music Awards (WMA) was held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Goldfields Junior Club House in Tarkwa, bringing together artistes, industry stakeholders and music fans from across the Western Region.
The ceremony, which featured live performances and award presentations, continues to serve as a major platform for recognising and promoting musical talent within the region. Artistes, producers, DJs and creatives who made notable contributions to the local music industry over the year were honoured on the night.
Aya RamzyB emerged as the biggest winner, securing the Artiste of the Year award. He also won Best Hiplife Artiste of the Year, reflecting his consistency and growing influence within the Western Region music scene.
Other notable winners included Mrs. Susie Arthur, who won Best Gospel Artiste of the Year and Best Female Artiste of the Year. Ayesem received Best Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year and Album or EP of the Year for Legacy III, while DeThompsonDDT was named Best Music Producer of the Year. Weekend by Aya RamzyB featuring Kofi Kinaata won Best Collaboration of the Year.
The event featured performances from Akatayie, Minister Winifred, Pasi, Rhespect, Kyn City and other artistes, adding live entertainment to the awards ceremony.
The 2025 edition was supported by Medimafo Herbal Clinic as title sponsor, alongside Jonamass Travel and Tour, Spy Entertainment, Gyata Promotions, Elisa Musical Shop and The Groove Essipong Hotel.
Organisers expressed appreciation to key dignitaries and traditional authorities, including Tarkwa Municipal Chief Executive Ebenezer Cobbinah, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Issah Taylor, Nana Kobina Gyan II, Nana Essel and the Wassa Traditional Council for their support.
The Western Music Awards continues to position itself as a platform dedicated to discovering, developing and promoting music talent from the Western Region.
