Strongman releases new single Makoma featuring King Paluta
Ghanaian rapper Strongman has released a new single titled Makoma, featuring musician King Paluta.
The title Makoma, translated as “My Heart”, centres on themes of love, heartbreak and emotional reflection. Strongman delivers verses that examine the strain and vulnerability associated with broken relationships, maintaining his signature storytelling approach.
King Paluta contributes a melodic hook that contrasts with Strongman’s rap delivery, creating a blend of lyric-driven verses and sung refrains. The collaboration presents a fusion of rap and melody anchored in an emotive tone.
The song was produced by Apya, whose mid-tempo arrangement allows the reflective narrative to remain central. An accompanying music video directed by Sniper Boy interprets the song’s themes through performance and visual storytelling.
