
The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Health, has announced a new partnership with the Government of Barbados to recruit qualified Allied Health Professionals for various positions on the Caribbean island.
According to the Ministry, the collaboration seeks to offer Ghanaian professionals the chance to explore rewarding international career opportunities while strengthening healthcare cooperation between the two nations.
The available positions include Cardiac Sonographer, Physicist I/II, Audiologist, Diagnostic Radiographer, Sonographer, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, and Speech Therapist/Speech & Language Pathologist.
Applicants are expected to meet the regulatory requirements of the Allied Health Professions Council and possess at least five years of working experience in their field.
The application window opens on Monday, 27th October 2025, and closes on Thursday, 30th October 2025. Interested candidates are to apply through the Ministry of Health’s recruitment portal at https://hr.moh.gov.gh or send their applications via email to mohhrhd@moh.gov.gh.
Each applicant must provide certified copies of academic and professional certificates, police clearance, reference letters, an updated CV, and a valid passport, among other required documents. The Ministry also noted that unsuitable applications will not be acknowledged.
The recruitment drive forms part of Ghana’s ongoing international partnerships aimed at creating employment opportunities for health professionals while enhancing bilateral relations in healthcare delivery and workforce development.
