Fufilling a priority of decentralising quality primary health care, MedAid Ghana, a group of young professionals has extended their warm experience to the people of Mankraso in the Ashanti Region.

On Saturday, September 21, after a thorough community surveillance, the group numbering over 20 volunteers gathered with a mission to educate, counsel and screen residents of the Mankranso township on issues pertaining to their health.

Over 300 people were screened with each having a priority health care, accordingly to MedAid’s mantra of making health accessible to seemingly hard to reach communities.

MedAid’s mission is to promote maternal and child health care issues and equip the youth/adolescents with knowledge on their sexual and reproductive health.

The group is currently on campus tour with diversed strategic topics to educate the next generation on matters of reproductive health and general well-being.
