Ghana has been plunged into mourning following the passing of legendary highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba. The iconic singer died on Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a short illness, according to an official statement released by the Fosu family.

The news has sent shockwaves across the nation and beyond, as fans, fellow musicians, and cultural stakeholders reflect on the immense legacy of a man whose voice and artistry defined generations.
