Medical and Dental Council Announces Change of Official Domain
The Medical and Dental Council has announced a change to its official domain name and email addresses as part of a government-led initiative to align public institutions with national digital standards.
According to the Council, the transition is aimed at improving service delivery, strengthening system security, and enhancing reliability across its digital platforms. The change will take effect from January 12, 2026.
Under the new arrangement, the Council’s official domain will move from mdcghana.org to mdc.gov.gh. A new official website will also be launched and made accessible via www.mdc.gov.gh.
In addition, all official Council email addresses will be updated to reflect the new domain. This includes addresses such as info@mdc.gov.gh and registration@mdc.gov.gh. The Council noted that the old domain may remain active for a limited period during the transition to ensure uninterrupted access and communication.
Practitioners, stakeholders, and members of the public are encouraged to update their records and begin using the new domain name and email addresses from the effective date. The Council reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient and reliable services.
