2022 WMAs: Naf Kassi Grabs 2 Nominations With ‘Obra’

Award-winning Ghanaian musician Nafisatu Kassim, popularly known as Naf Kassi has earned two nominations at the 6th edition of the Western Music Awards (WMA).

Naf Kassi’s ‘Obra’ earned her a spot for the categories Highlife Song of the Year and Highlife Artiste Of The Year.

She was nominated alongside Afezi Perry, AK Difaya, Fameye, Naana Blu and  Kweysi Swat.

It is refreshing to note that Naf Kassi picked up, Best Female Artiste of the Year with her song ‘Me Mbo Tuo’ at the 4th edition of the WMA held at the Atlantic Hotel (Takoradi) in 2020.

Naf Kassi who started as a professional artiste in 2019 has gradually built herself into a strong force in the Highlife music sector.

Organisers of the Western Music Awards, Westline Entertainment on Saturday, July 9, 2022, announced the list of nominees for the 6th edition of the award scheme at Anaji Choicemart in Takoradi.

The WMAs is set up to recognise and celebrate the hard work and dedication of artists in the Western music industry.
